Remixpoint Consolidates Crypto Treasury Entirely Into Bitcoin After Selling Altcoin Portfolio

Japanese publicly traded firm Remixpoint has officially liquidated its entire holdings of Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin, leaving Bitcoin as the sole cryptocurrency asset in its treasury. According to a public disclosure, the company offloaded the altcoins for ¥878.8 million ($4.47 million), surpassing their aggregate book value of ¥761 million ($3.87 million). The transaction yielded a realized gain of ¥117.8 million ($598,400), which will be recognized as business-segment revenue in the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, Decrypt reported.

The asset sale yielded mixed results across the individual tokens, though overall net profit remained comfortably positive. Ethereum generated the largest individual gain at ¥60.2 million ($305,900), followed by Solana with ¥49.3 million ($250,500) and XRP with ¥11.5 million ($58,500). Dogecoin was the sole loss-making asset in the portfolio, recording a deficit of ¥3.26 million ($16,500). Prior to the liquidation, the company’s holdings in Ethereum and Solana had also generated a combined ¥29.87 million ($151,800) in staking rewards.

Corporate leadership stated that the decision to exit altcoins was reached after a comprehensive evaluation of prevailing market conditions, individual risk-return profiles, and overall financial strategy. By shifting its operational focus exclusively to Bitcoin, Remixpoint aims to clarify its digital asset management strategy and optimize capital efficiency. The strategy continues to yield yield-bearing revenue, with Bitcoin lending operations producing nearly 14.92 BTC in fee income worth ¥164.2 million ($834,300) between late February and late August.

Following the divestment, tracking data ranks Remixpoint as the 38th largest public corporate holder of Bitcoin, with total reserves standing at 1,501 BTC valued at approximately $116.1 million. The strategic pivot aligns with a broader trend of accelerating corporate Bitcoin accumulation across global markets, as firms increasingly raise capital to concentrate corporate reserves into the primary asset. Recent market activity reflects this movement, with major corporate players including Metaplanet, Zhibao Technology, Strive, and Strategy expanding their respective Bitcoin balance sheets through multi-million dollar acquisitions.
