Circle’s Q3 Revenue Reaches $865 Million as Firm Cuts 5% Staff

Circle Internet Group, Inc. reported its financial and operational results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, highlighting robust growth across its core stablecoin and payments infrastructure. Total revenue and reserve income reached $865 million, marking a 17 percent increase year-over-year. Net income from continuing operations grew to $226 million, while adjusted EBITDA surged 85 percent year-over-year to $317 million. Average USDC in circulation climbed to $73.3 billion, representing an 8 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025, while onchain transaction volume expanded significantly by 49 percent to $13.9 trillion.

To better align its organizational structure with key strategic priorities, Circle executed a workforce reduction during the quarter that impacted approximately 5 percent of its employees. The restructuring resulted in $9.1 million in associated expenses, primarily consisting of severance payments and notice period cash expenditures.

The company advanced its global payments infrastructure during the quarter, announcing a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-headquartered B2B cross-border platform Tazapay to expand its reach across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and emerging markets. Furthermore, Circle launched the Arc public mainnet alongside the genesis mint of 10 billion ARC tokens to support decentralized coordination, privacy, and scalability. Strategic ecosystem expansions also featured a $100 million equity investment and partnership renewal from Binance, a principal partnership with Chelsea Football Club, and integrations with Samsung Wallet, Visa Direct, and enterprise software ecosystems.

Management provided updated financial guidance for the upcoming periods, projecting a multi-year compounded annual growth rate of 40 percent for USDC in circulation through the cycle. For the full fiscal year 2026, Circle expects other revenue to range between $310 million and $330 million, with a projected revenue less distribution costs margin between 41.7 and 43.7 percent, alongside adjusted operating expenses targeted between $570 million and $585 million.
